I've just come back from a mini-break in Budapest and saw Kosheen play there on Wednesday. Had an awesome hols and seeing Kosheen was a definite highlight.
I didn't really have any idea what the venue would be like at Zold Pardon but it's this big out door event, beer tents, main stage, DJ tents...you know the sort. Although there was a table football tent and a lot of people went there after for a game or two. Bit random but it worked!
I could not believe how many people were there...it was packed. The queue coiled around the venue as people waited to get in. Apparently the Hungarian government organises these events and attendees just pay a small fee to go in. Such a good initiative.
But that didn't mean that the place wasn't full of fans...it certainly was. Everyone was singing and dancing along. It was like a Kosheen love fest.
The band played 3 new songs...I'm not sure what they are called. One talked about saving your tears for another day, another was Sian's views on CCTV and another one was called Brother/Lover or Trouble. I dunno which...I had a few beers and was dancing with some crazy hungarians who were digging the whole English accent.
Anyway the songs were as follows:
Chances
Overkill
New Song
Wasting My Time
Hungry
New Song
New Song
All In My Head
Empty Skies
Slip and Slide Suicide
Pride
Hide U
Suzy May
Catch
Recovery
Yeah so it was a great gig. The guys are keeping well and work on the 4th album continues. Something to look forward to, eh?
Come home soon please!
